Studio Policy:

The wellness studio is a place where you come to relax and escape from your hectic and stressful lives. So we strongly recommend that you do not to have errands or other appointments on the day you visit. Choose a day where you are free to slip away from life and have time to escape from reality.  

Appointments: Being on time for appointments are greatly appreciated so that you may receive your full service and so our guest are not inconvenienced. Arriving a minimum of 10- 15 minutes prior to your appointment allows you time to check in and use restroom if needed. You may enjoy a beverage prior to after your treatments.

Reservations: We suggest making all reservations at least 72 hours in advance.  If you are a group, we are a small and quaint studio therefore we are not able to accommodate more than 3 people at a tome depending on services you are wanting to schedule.

For couples or groups of 3,  a week in advance is highly recommended. We do ask for a credit card to hold your reservation.

Cancellation Policy: Because your spa treatments are reserved for you, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel, re-schedule or change your appointment. Otherwise we charge a 50% off the total service fee to your credit card and 100% of the total service fee to your credit card if it's less than a 6 hour notice or no call. Groups of 3 or more, please notify us 72 hours before if you need to cancel, re-schedule or change. Cancellations under 24 hours for groups of 3 or more are charged 100% of the full price of the services. We do require a credit card to when making your appointment reservation.

NO SHOWS are charged full price of service missed. If using a gift certificate 'the gift certificate has already been redeemed to cover the No Show fee'. After 3 No Shows, we have the right to refuse scheduling in advance for your services.

Gift Certificates/CardsA Spa Gift Certificate is ideal for any special occasion or as a thank you. Phone and mail orders are available.

*Gift Certificates or gift cards are not redeemable on date issued.

*We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized gift certificates. "Treat your gift certificate as you would CASH."

*Gift Certificates or gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable and expiration date of 5 years on dollar amount.

*Gift Certificate will be marked VOID if you schedule an appointment and do not cancel 24 hour in advance or No Show the appointment.

*Gift certificate or gift card for a treatments or spa packages expire in a year. After a year the gift certificates is worth it's dollar amount.

*Special offers, donated, package programs or discounted gift certificates have a specified expiration date on offer.

Massage/Facassage Package Program Guidelines:

*The package programs are for one person only

*Non-refundable and Non-transferable

*Package programs have a duration of 6 months or 12 months depending on program purchased. Program expires 6 or 12 months from first session redeemed. Example: purchase 6 month massage package program first session is 1/1/2017 the expiration is 6/30/2017.

*Monthly Package Program is a pre-paid program where you receive 1 or more sessions a month in a specific time frame depending on package program purchased.

*Sessions may not be scheduled on Saturdays unless authorized by Heather.

*If program holder does not use a monthly session by months end you forfeit that months session unless honored by Heather.

*There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If program holder does not call 24 hour in advance to cancel a session that session will be forfeited.

*Program holder my freeze a month if in writing and agreed on 30 days prior to month wanting to freeze. This will allow a month extension on expiration date.

*It is program holders responsibility to ask for a receipt for proof of purchase of package program for the holders records.

*Monthly Package Programs are at a 18-20% savings on sessions for program holder. Please respect and honor or policy and guidelines listed above. Enjoy your monthly sessions.

Returns: We stand behind the products we sell at Knot's A Problem. All sales are final.

Payment of Treatments: We accept all major credit cards, check and cash. If paying with a gift certificate it must be presented at time of appointment. If you fail to have the gift certificate you will need to pay with credit card, check or cash.

If a check is returned a $35 return fee will apply.

Gratuity: If you are happy with the treatments you received and would like to leave a gratuity that it much appreciated. We believe gratuities are a gift from you to show the therapist or specialists how pleased you are with your treatments. But are not expected.

15 to 20% is the average.

Taking Photos: We do understand that you may want photos to remember the relaxing and enjoyable experience you had at the spa. Please ask for permission by management/owner before taking a photo while inside the facilities while you/your party are here at Knots A Problem. Photos taken of, product being used, retail, decor, displays, layout of establishment, etc are prohibited. A fee of $10 a photo will be billed to you if we see them on social media without managements permission. Respecting people's privacy is very important to us. That is why we ask that all cell phones be turned off during your time at Knot's A Problem.
